Amarildo is thankful for the kindess shown to him
posted June 28, 2012

I’m Amarildo and I’m 17 years old. I started in ADCAM’s pre-youth program when I was 14 and just a kid on the streets. I learned so much with the support of the teachers and coordinators and they recommended me for the Youth Apprentice Program. I passed the admission test, entered the program and got an internship in a business. As interns, we get a stipend and with that money, I bought a notebook computer which really helps me in all my schoolwork. There are eight people in my family. My little brother has entered the pre-youth program and I trust that in the not too distant future, he’ll have an opportunity to enter the Youth Apprentice Program too. These courses have changed my family’s prospects in life and guaranteed us a better future. I really am so grateful and hope one day to repay all the kindness that has been shown me.

A scholarship to this program allows me to increase my capacity day by day until I become a professional with a technical certification in Business Operations.
My first goal is to gain a dignified living and then to help my mother start her own business. Then there are other clear targets I’ll aim at. I’m writing this in the hopes that those who read it will feel our dreams are worth the investment.”
Thank you for supporting Roberto! Your assistance is giving him a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of opportunities in his Brazilian community.
